FSI Technologies announces the latest "smarter camera" offering from EVT (EyeVision Technology), the RazerCam. The compact RazerCam series has powerful processing capabilities; it is based on the XILINX ZYNQ SoC, and is equipped with two ARM cores and a user programmable FPGA. The RazerCam is suitable for industrial automation, as well as motion control, machine vision, robot and AGV applications.

According to Fred Turek, FSI's COO, "The user-programmable FPGA allows blazingly fast image processing at the time of image capture. This allows us to economically handle very high speed applications."

The RazerCam series is available in three sensor options and is equipped with a Linux operating system. It is also available with integrated EyeVision software.
