Intelligrated at PACK EXPO International 2012: Flexible Automated Palletizing and Material Handling

Company showcases the latest in hybrid in-line palletizing and robotic depalletizing solutions, as well as mixed-load order fulfillment technologies

(CINCINNATI: Sept. 6, 2012) Intelligrated® (www.intelligrated.com), a leading North American-based automated material handling solutions provider, announces its PACK EXPO International 2012 show lineup. Focusing on flexible product handling configurations and system design, the Intelligrated booth (#2274) will feature an Alvey® 952-2 hybrid in-line palletizer, an Alvey robotic depalletizer and the company's mixed-load order fulfillment technologies.

Ideal for reduced secondary packaging applications, the Alvey 950 hybrid in-line palletizer integrates robotic arms with a conventional high-speed palletizer to increase pattern flexibility and facilitate quick product changeover. Intelligrated's in-booth demonstration will showcase an Alvey 952-2 equipped with two KUKA robots and enhanced features for optimized product handling.

Intelligrated's PACK EXPO booth will also feature its line of Alvey Robotics solutions, including a live robotic depalletizing demonstration. Alvey Robotics systems integrate a wide variety of material handling components, including both standard and custom end-of-arm tooling and robotic arms from multiple manufacturers. The Intelligrated booth will feature Motoman, Fanuc and KUKA articulated arm robots.

In addition to robotic palletizing and depalletizing, the Intelligrated booth will showcase the company's mixed-load order fulfillment system technology. The display will highlight labor-reducing solutions that help manufacturers create mixed-SKU pallet loads for distribution. Components include automated replenishment, case order picking, conveyor, high-speed sortation, palletizing and warehouse control software.
