ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich., July 16, 2012 - FANUC Robotics America, Corp. has received the prestigious Authorized Provider accreditation by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). The IACET Authorized Providers are the only organizations approved to offer IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The accreditation period extends for five years, and includes all programs offered or created during that time.

"The job skills gap is a threat to our nation's manufacturing competitiveness," said Andy Denny, Vice President, FANUC Robotics America. "Our Industry Certified Robot Training (iCERT) and customer training programs prepare students for high-paying careers in advanced manufacturing."

FANUC Robotics joins nearly 650 organizations around the globe that have had their programs examined by third-party experts in continuing education to ensure the highest possible standards are met. In order to achieve Authorized Provider accreditation, FANUC Robotics successfully demonstrated adherence to the ANSI/IACET 1-2007 Standard addressing the design, development, administration, and evaluation of its programs.
