Schneider Packaging Exhibits Wide Range of End of Line Automation
At Automate 2013 (Co-located with ProMat), January 21-24, 2013 McCormick Place, Chicago, Booth 714
CHICAGO, IL - Schneider Packaging Equipment Co., Inc., specializing in end-of-line solutions for palletizing and case packing needs, will demonstrate the Robotic Vertical Carton/Case Loader (RVCL) designed for high-speed product handling and the E3 palletizer for portable robotic palletizing at Automate SM 2013, co-located with ProMat® 2013, McCormick Place, Chicago, Booth 714.
The Schneider Robotic Vertical Carton/Case Loader, (RVCL) is designed for precise, high speed product handling. Its vision guided, four-axis M3 robotic arms, for bigger payloads, locate, inspect, and orient product for high speed nesting and placing. Even complex shapes can be tightly packed maximizing sustainability. Its modular design increases throughput and can be configured to top load cartons, cases or trays, and easily accommodates additional modules/robots for increased production. The system is built for very high efficiency (OEE), rapid changeovers, and simple maintenance.
Designed with economy in mind, the E3 palletizer simplifies handling multiple SKUs, often without any mechanical changeover, at a price point and small footprint that virtually any operation can afford. The small footprint can typically fit in the same space as a single person manual palletizing station. The E3 unit is also portable; it is equipped with fork pockets and can be transported by fork truck between lines for fluctuating production demands. Available with product labeling and bar code reading for product tracking applications, it's ideal for pharmaceutical and food applications.
Schneider Packaging Equipment Co., Inc. has acquired the assets of S&R Machinery (http://www.srmachinery.com), a premier supplier of both random and uniform case sealers. From the SR5000 high speed fully automatic random case sealer (available in both pressure sensitive tape and hot melt glue models) to the simplicity of the SR3000 series automatic uniform case sealer, S&R provides the right case sealing solution.
Schneider Packaging's wide range of automated solutions, for cartoning, case packing and palletizing focus on lower total cost of ownership, smaller footprint, rapid changeover, energy savings, and sustainable operations with high overall operating efficiency.
Schneider's solutions have the ability to pack combo packs, as well as sort, count, orient, align, pack, close, label and palletize in highly efficient, cost saving configurations that improve quality and packaging efficiency.
