New High Accuracy Magnetic Encoder

Vert-X 51 Series encoders are ideal for harsh environments

Southborough, MA -- Novotechnik U.S. introduces the Vert-X 51 Series of rotary magnetic encoders which feature 12-, 14- or 16-bit resolution and repeatability to 0.36° or ±0.1° - depending on model.

Measurement range of the Vert-X 51 is 0 to 360° and physical measurements of the housing are 30 mm x 50 mm.

Vert-X 51 Series encoders are ideal for harsh environments with ingress protection to IP 67, withstand shock up to 50 g and vibration to 20 g and have operating and storage temperature range of up to -40 to +125 °C. MTBF is 135+ years.

Ten output options are available including 0.1 to 10 V, 0.5 to 4.5 V, 4 to 20 mA, CANopen, PWM, and SPI. Versions with 5V or 24 V supplies as well as redundant outputs are available.

Vert-X 51 Series is available with up to two TTL switch outputs and some versions are programmable with CW/CCW sense of rotation, start and end points, custom characteristic curve, switches and index point.

Ideal for marine propulsion, off-highway and other applications requiring certifications, the Vert-X 51 CANopen version is certified by four authorities including the American Bureau of Shipping.

ResinDek® TRIGARD® ESD ULTRA FOR HIGH-TRAFFIC ROBOTIC APPLICATIONS

To maximize the productivity of an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) or automatic guided vehicle (AGV) deployment, it's critical to create the optimal environment that allows the vehicles to perform at their peak. For that reason, Cornerstone Specialty Wood Products, LLC® (www.resindek.com) created the TriGard® ESD Ultra finish for its ResinDek® engineered flooring panels. The TriGard ESD Ultra finish is ideal for high-traffic robotic applications characterized by highly repetitive movement patterns and defined travel paths.
