QinetiQ North America wins major contract to support Office of Naval Research

Services are expected to include: systems engineering, program management, operations research, social science/psychology, and integration and engagement with Code 30's customers and stakeholders.

Reston, Va.-March 4, 2014-QinetiQ North America (QNA) announced today that it was awarded a prime contract to provide engineering, technical, programmatic and financial support services for the Office of Naval Research's (ONR) Expeditionary Maneuver Warfare and Combating Terrorism Department (Code 30). This cost-plus fixed fee contract has a total value of about $16M over five years.


ONR is part of the Department of Defense, and pursues the mission of coordinating, executing, and promoting science and technology programs for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. Within ONR, Code 30 supports the Marine Corps as its primary customer, advancing scientific knowledge and future concepts across a variety of thrust areas, including force protection, maneuver, logistics, fires, cyber-warfare, and human socio-cultural behavior.

Under the contract, QNA will lead a team of eight small and large businesses, to support the full spectrum of Code 30's requirements. Services are expected to include: systems engineering, program management, operations research, social science/psychology, and integration and engagement with Code 30's customers and stakeholders.
