KUKA Robotics Launches New Subsidiary in Australia
With its industrial robots, KUKA spans not just many different sectors but the entire globe. With the newest KUKA subsidiary, the Augsburg technological leader is now represented in Australia as well.
Reaching new heights Down Under
The market, located 16,000 km away, has had access to KUKA robots through commercial agents since 2009. Strong growth, increasing demand and greater awareness have provided the basis for expanding Down Under operations with a subsidiary.
"The successive expansion of KUKA's market share places particular emphasis on the food & beverage, pharmaceuticals and education sectors," explains Greg Sale. The Australian - a sales professional with many years of robotics expertise - is CEO of KUKA Robotics Australia, based in Melbourne.
With its innovative products and solutions, KUKA is not just set to respond to the global trend towards robot-based automation - with 28 subsidiaries and over 3,400 employees worldwide, KUKA is a forward thinker and trailblazer for intelligent and pioneering automation solutions. For every sector. For every production process. On every continent.
