STRAHL LLC has launched the sales of a new pipe crawler with an amazingly wide spectrum of functions coupled with affordability. The Pipe Inspection Robot GECKO 9050 ( http://www.fiberscope.net/pipe-inspection-robot-gecko-9040.html ) is a carefully designed system allowing to inspect pipes up to 150 meters (445) long. The system includes a crawler on tracks with controllable speeds up to 33 meters per minute and an optional steering function to bypass bends and corners with more ease. The standard configuration features a 78mm (3") auto-leveling, pan and tilt camera head and a 120 meter (394 ft.) cable. The camera head boasts the self-levelling function and manual focus. Customized lengths up to 150 meters are available upon request. The diameter of the camera head permits inspecting pipes from 4 to 20 in diameter.
