RB-ROBOUT: Robotnik's latest AMR, with 1 ton payload to hit the market

The mobile robot RB-ROBOUT can transport loads of up to one ton in indoor industrial environments such as factories or warehouses.

Robotnik has been focused on the development of industrial robotic applications based on mobile platforms and manipulators for different areas such as logistics, inspection and maintenance for the last 20 years.

A few weeks ago, the leading company in collaborative mobile robotics launched the new RB-ROBOUT: an AMR with a payload of up to 1,000 kg designed to transport both material trolleys and loads directly placed on the platform.
Its low 'mouse' height design and omni-directional movement based on 4 high-powered drive wheels make it ideal for working in warehouses, factories or any industrial environment, including confined spaces.
The RB-ROBOUT is a mobile and collaborative robot capable of making decisions in real time, so it can safely share workspace with operators. For example, if it is transporting any material from one point to another and comes face to face with a pallet or any other obstacle, the RB-ROBOUT will avoid it and redefine its route as it does not make use of physical elements for its location and navigation.
The latest product that the Spanish company has added to its portfolio, is having a great reception not only among large companies, but also in SMEs that are committed to the intelligent automation of certain industrial processes.
All Robotnik mobile robots are modular, flexible and with ROS-based architecture, which facilitates their adaptation to the particularities of the application.
In addition, the robot has an interface to make the system easy to manage by any user.
