Geo Week and ASPRS Call for Speakers for 2024 Conference Program Ends June 30!

Industry experts sought to participate; Geo Week and ASPRS sessions will be accessible with a single conference pass.

PORTLAND, MAINE - USA, June 27, 2023 - Organizers of Geo Week have announced the final few days of their open Call for Speakers which seeks professionals to present case studies about cutting-edge digitization projects, unique applications for lidar and geospatial technologies, and developing digital workflows for complex built world projects. In 2024, longtime partners Geo Week and ASPRS are coming together to produce a comprehensive conference program that will be accessible to attendees with a single conference pass purchase. Geo Week will take place February 11-13, 2024 in Denver, Colorado at the Colorado Convention Center.

"We're constantly re-evaluating and shaping our event based on attendee feedback and the needs of the industry. A single Call for Speakers and single-pass Conference Program is the next logical step in bringing together professionals from across disciplines to address pressing issues facing geospatial, 3D, and built world environments today," said Lee Corkhill, Event Director at Diversified Communications, organizer of the event. She remarked, "One conference pass will truly provide a world of geospatial and built world education."
The submission period for the Call for Speakers ends Friday, June 30. Topics of interests for speaker submissions include the following:
• Aerial Lidar and Data Acquisition • Applications of AR/VR/XR
• Laser Scanning / Reality Capture • Photogrammetry
• Emerging Technologies • Data Integration and Management
• Data Visualization Innovations • Point Cloud Processing
• Topobathymetry and Coastal Mapping • AI and Machine Learning
• SLAM / Mobile Mapping • Automation / Robotics
• Smart Cities / IoT • UAV / UAS Applications
• AEC Workflows • Remote Sensing / Imagery
• Digital Twins • Using Technology in Infrastructure Projects
"Since 2018, photogrammetry, remote sensing, and lidar professionals and vendors have enthusiastically welcomed the opportunity to participate in one consolidated event - and Geo Week is making it easier than ever to attend," said Karen Schuckman, Executive Director of ASPRS. "Our continued partnership acknowledges not only the richness and complexity of the technologies we have available for spatial analysis and decision making, but it also gives us all the opportunity to explore and invent new analysis methods that leverage the fusion of imagery, elevation, and bathymetry with 3D models of the built world. The merging of these disciplines is the future, and we look forward to reviewing speaker applications and announcing this year's conference program."
Interested professionals can apply to present here. Full event information, including workshops, conference programming, networking events, and more will be available soon. Registration opens in October - fill out an inquiry form to stay in the know.
