MMP RELEASES NEW 24V DC PLANETARY GEARMOTOR FOR ROBOTICS & AUTOMATION APPLICATONS
This is to announce our latest Product Innovation, the Model MMP D33-455D-24V GP81-029 DC Gearmotor.
The fully reversible Gearmotor operates with a 24V DC Input, while consuming just 14 A of current.
Adding to its versatility, the unit is designed with a rear shaft extension, and threaded mounting holes for an integrally mounted optical encoder.
This unique design features a High Efficiency Planetary Gearing, High Output Power to size & weight ratio, Low Speed and Low Noise, in a Compact, Lightweight (Just 11 Pounds!) 24 Volt DC Gearmotor.
Please find attached the Press Release, Technical Specification Sheet, and a Photograph of this exciting new "Built in the USA" product.
Typical uses for this "Compact, Lightweight" 24 Volt DC Gearmotor would include Mobility & Accessibility Equipment, Autonomous/Robotic Vehicles, UGV's, UUV's, Alternative Energy Equipment, including Solar Tracking, Linear Actuators, Automotive Accessories, Material Handling Equipment, Moving Target Equipment, Rotating Signage, and battery powered Electric Utility Vehicles of all kinds.
This unit is able to develop its full continuous output torque of 136 In Lbs. at 140 RPM, while consuming 28.6 Amps of current. That translates to a long life battery charge, quiet operation, and lower cost drive electronics, to mention just a few of the many benefits available to the user..
Industrial Robots with Image Processing in the Photovoltaic Industry
A 'seeing' robot can flexibly pick up, recognize and measure wafers, solar cells and even whole modules and then place the gripped objects with great precision and speed.
Adept Robotics for the Solar Industry
Todays ultra-thin solar cells require precise and gentle handling. And with the increasing demand on solar manufacturers for product, automation must deliver the highest throughput possible.

How cameras deliver sharp images despite changing distances
IDS Imaging Development Systems offers a range of models, from a webcam-like camera in industrial quality to a tiny autofocus camera that weighs just12 grams. The 13 MP autofocus camera uEye XC closes the market gap between industrial cameras and webcams. Setting up and operating only requires a cable connection. After that, the autofocus camera immediately delivers high-resolution, detailed images and videos. With the optionally available, quickly exchangeable macro lens, users can easily shorten the minimum object distance of the camera. This makes it also suitable for close-up applications. Focus from a distance of just 10 cm. The uEye XS is even more compact and fits into almost any application with its size of just 26.4 x 23 x 21.7 mm. Thanks to its autofocus and 5 MP CMOS sensor, it delivers consistently sharp images and videos from a distance of just 10 cm. When it comes to image quality, natural color reproduction and harmonious contrast are also decisive factors. IDS has therefore equipped the uEye XS with many other practical automatic features familiar from consumer technology. This includes white balance, exposure and gain. As a result, it delivers the best possible result in every situation.
