MMP Releases new 12V DC Gearmotor - 136 In Lbs torque at 140 RPM output speed

Midwest Motion Products of Watertown, Minnesota, is pleased to announce the release of a new DC Gear- Motor, Model # MMP-D33-455A-12V GP81-029 - Accepting any 12 Volt DC source, including battery power, this robust Gear Motor measures just 3.2" (max) Diameter, by 9.25" long and has a keyed output shaft of 19mm diameter by 40mm long. Easy mounting is accomplished with 4 "face mount" M6 threaded holes, equally spaced on a 65mm Dia. B.C. or an optional NEMA34 Flange, is also available. The output of this fully reversible gearmotor is rated for 136 IN-LBS continuous torque, at 140 RPM, and 1062 IN-LBS (120 Nm) Peak Torque. Despite its compact size, and weight of approximately 11 pounds, it's an efficient design, requiring just 28.6 Amps at 12 Volts DC to generate its Full-Load Torque. This translates into long battery charge, very LOW-NOISE operation, and lower cost drive electronics. Motor windings for 18v, 24v, 28v, 36v, 42v, 48v, 60v & 90 Volts are available.

Cloud Manufacturing

As the automation industry begins its reach into the cloud, manufacturing communities will not only improve productivity, they will begin to reclaim the prominence the industry once claimed in the economy.

Survey of Control System Integrators

Nearly all automation vendors rely on system integrator partners to take some percentage of their hardware and software products to market in the form of completely functional systems.

MMP RELEASES NEW 24V DC PLANETARY GEARMOTOR FOR ROBOTICS & AUTOMATION APPLICATONS

This is to announce our latest Product Innovation, the Model MMP D33-455D-24V GP81-029 DC Gearmotor. The fully reversible Gearmotor operates with a 24V DC Input, while consuming just 14 A of current. Adding to its versatility, the unit is designed with a rear shaft extension, and threaded mounting holes for an integrally mounted optical encoder. This unique design features a High Efficiency Planetary Gearing, High Output Power to size & weight ratio, Low Speed and Low Noise, in a Compact, Lightweight (Just 11 Pounds!) 24 Volt DC Gearmotor. Please find attached the Press Release, Technical Specification Sheet, and a Photograph of this exciting new "Built in the USA" product. Typical uses for this "Compact, Lightweight" 24 Volt DC Gearmotor would include Mobility & Accessibility Equipment, Autonomous/Robotic Vehicles, UGV's, UUV's, Alternative Energy Equipment, including Solar Tracking, Linear Actuators, Automotive Accessories, Material Handling Equipment, Moving Target Equipment, Rotating Signage, and battery powered Electric Utility Vehicles of all kinds. This unit is able to develop its full continuous output torque of 136 In Lbs. at 140 RPM, while consuming 28.6 Amps of current. That translates to a long life battery charge, quiet operation, and lower cost drive electronics, to mention just a few of the many benefits available to the user..
