e-con Systems expands its Camera Portfolio for Renesas RZ/V2N MPU in AI-powered Vision Applications
Having previously delivered advanced multi-camera solutions for the Renesas RZ/V2H processor, this collaboration further reinforces that e-con Systems enables high-performance AI vision for industrial automation, smart surveillance, and robotics applications.
California & Chennai (March 11, 2025): e-con Systems®, a leading provider of embedded vision solutions, continues its strong collaboration with Renesas by supporting the latest high performance RZ/V2N processor, launching at embedded world 2025 in Nuremberg, Germany. Having previously delivered advanced multi-camera solutions for the Renesas RZ/V2H processor, this collaboration further reinforces that e-con Systems enables high-performance AI vision for industrial automation, smart surveillance, and robotics applications.
Visit Renesas' booth (Hall 1, STAND 234) at embedded world to experience the AI vision demo featuring the RZ/V2N processor and explore how e-con Systems' diverse camera portfolio empowers smart vision-based applications.
As part of camera solution series for Renesas RZ/V2N, e-con Systems presents:
• e-CAM22_CURZH - A Full HD ultra-low light color camera based on Sony Starvis™ IMX462 CMOS image sensor. This camera excels in near-infrared performance, capturing high-quality images even in extremely low-light conditions.
• e-CAM25_CURZH - A Full HD Global Shutter Camera based on onsemi® AR0234CS sensor. Its global shutter technology minimizes frame-to-frame distortion, ensuring accurate imaging of fast-moving objects. It also supports synchronized multi-camera solutions (up to two cameras).
These cameras are designed to seamlessly integrate with the Renesas RZ/V2N development kit and are readily available for evaluation.
In addition to the premier offering, e-con Systems will present a diverse lineup of cameras that leverage the capabilities of the Renesas RZ/V2N processor, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of edge AI vision applications.
"The RZ/V2N processor, with its impressive AI capabilities, perfectly complements our camera solutions, enabling customers to develop sophisticated edge AI vision systems that deliver exceptional performance even in challenging lighting conditions. We're happy to have our camera featured in Renesas' showcase at embedded world 2025, supporting innovative solutions for industrial automation, robotics and more." said Suresh Madhu, Head of Industrial Business Unit at e-con Systems.
"The Renesas RZ/V2N is developed to target high volume, broad-range of vision AI solutions, " said Daryl Khoo, Vice President, Embedded Processing Product Group at Renesas. "We are proud to couple this product launch with another successful global collaboration with e-con Systems, who has been our long-standing partner who already serves a wide variety of markets based on Renesas vision AI solutions."
