It may have been a while since you have heard from us, so here's a reminder about what we do: We design, manufacture, and sell framed and frameless direct drive motors with the best torque to mass density in the world. No gears. No oil. Problems solved.
Now that we are Genesis Motion Solutions, we will continue to provide the same high-quality products and support that you have come to rely on, with an even stronger focus on motion solutions. We believe that by collaborating with you, we can bring new developments to the market and work together to push the boundaries of what is possible. Motion redefined.
One common problem we want to help resolve is how to deal with the various challenges around using geared motors. The short answer: replace them with Genesis direct drive motors. For more details, read our recently released technical note that describes the Benefits of Direct Drive Motors. This article introduces geared and direct drive motor concepts, including both inertia ratio and gear equations. In addition, it contains a basic example comparing the motor output power of a geared motor to that of a direct drive motor. Finally, it highlights the challenges with geared motors and the Genesis solution.
Still asking yourself, "Why Genesis Motion Solutions?". We have a team of passionate creators, developers, and most of all, problem solvers. In everything we do, our aim is to solve problems with you and for you.
Let's solve problems together.

Schmalz Technology Development - The Right Gripper for Every Task
In order to interact with their environment and perform the tasks, lightweight robots, like all industrial robots, depend on tools - and in many cases these are vacuum grippers. These form the interface to the workpiece and are therefore a decisive part of the overall system. With their help, the robots can pick up, move, position, process, sort, stack and deposit a wide variety of goods and components. Vacuum gripping systems allow particularly gentle handling of workpieces, a compact and space-saving system design and gripping from above. Precisely because the object does not have to be gripped, the vacuum suction cupenables gapless positioning next to each other.
