Deepu Talla of NVIDIA to Deliver Keynote at Automate 2025 on the Future of Industrial Autonomy
Talla, a leading expert on robotics and AI, will kick off the second day of Automate on May 13 in Detroit
Today, the Association for Advancing Automation (A3) announced that Deepu Talla, vice president of robotics and edge AI at NVIDIA, will deliver a keynote address titled "Industrial Autonomy in the Era of Physical AI" at Automate 2025 on Tuesday, May 13, at 9 a.m. The Automate Show and Conference is the leading showcase for the robotics and automation industry in North America.
Talla will talk about how physical AI and NVIDIA's innovative ecosystem are revolutionizing automation by transforming it from a static system to a dynamic, adaptive technology that is reshaping a wide range of sectors, from manufacturing and logistics to autonomous robots and vehicles, with a potential to impact up to $50 trillion in global GDP.
"NVIDIA is among the world's most innovative technology companies and a key accelerator of the industrial AI ecosystem," said Jeff Burnstein, president of A3. "Given Deepu's expertise and forward-thinking perspective, we are confident that Automate attendees will gain valuable insights from his keynote session."
Talla joins a keynote speaker lineup that includes Brad Holmes, the Detroit Lions executive vice president and general manager, alongside Dan Miller, Fox 2 sports director and voice of the Lions, who will present together on organizational transformation.
"The big bang of robotics has arrived," said Deepu Talla, vice president of robotics and edge AI at NVIDIA. "Powered by advances in simulation, multi-modal generative models and accelerated computing from edge-to-cloud, the physical AI ecosystem is transforming the world's largest industries and driving the next wave of industrial autonomy."
Automate 2025 will take place May 12-15 in Detroit at Huntington Place, and keynotes are free to all show and conference attendees. During the Automate Show, more than 800 exhibitors will display the latest in robotics, vision systems, AI, motion control and more across more than 320,000 square feet. Anyone ages 12 and older can attend the free show. A paid industry conference will coincide with the free show and is slated to feature more than 200 speakers.

The piCOBOT Electric vacuum generator
Fully electric, slim design and absence of air-tubing and cabling. The new piCOBOT® Electric heads towards another success for Piab's piCOBOT® program. A secondary effect of these achievements is the absence of entangling air tubing and cabling. It simplifies the installation, and as the new piCOBOT® Electric only needs a single connection on the cobot arm, the clean set-up allows a completely unrestricted movement. The new piCOBOT® Electric package will contain plug & play software to fit UR e-series cobots, but many other useful adaptations will be introduced in the coming year
