Automation and software supplier opens new location in booming logistics hub to meet demand for localized solutions support

The new location is situated in the Inland Empire, a major supply chain hub for the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, which account for 40 percent of all cargo containers imported to the U.S., according to MHI Solutions. The same report states that about 75 percent of goods from the two ports pass through distribution centers in the Inland Empire before heading to other parts of the country.

The expansion allows Intelligrated to support these major distribution operations with responsive sales, solutions development, engineering, project management and lifecycle support. The Ontario office provides these enhanced services to customers in Southern California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah. The opening of an additional west coast location leverages the success of Intelligrateds primary western regional location in Roseville, California.
