In conjunction with Elbit Systems presenting, the Swiss Air Force will provide an International Keynote Presentation on "An Update on the Swiss UAV Fleet and the Requirements of Modernisation". Colonel Adrian Fischer, Officer Commanding, 84th UAV Command, Swiss Air Force will discuss the introduction of Elbit's Hermes 900 platform to the Swiss UAV Fleet, Elbit's next-generation multi-role MALE UAS. His presentation will cover: The main UAV technologies at use in Switzerland, The Elbit Hermes 900 platform, The RUAG Ranger, phasing out the RUAG Ranger while introducing the Elbit Hermes 900, Developing the MALE UAV fleet and Airspace Integration.
Elbit's Hermes 900 features over-the-horizon, persistent multi-mission, multi-payload capabilities with a class-leading payload carrying capacity of 350 kg. Hermes 900 is capable of performing missions for area dominance and persistent ISTAR (intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance) [ELBIT].
International Keynote presentations at the conference will also be hosted by the French Marine Nationale (SFC), State Protection and Security - France & PEO AVIATION - US Army.
